What we do

The work we take on.

We're a small studio, so we do a small number of things properly. Here's what those things are, and who they fit.

The short version

We do three things: custom software, websites, and brands. Sometimes one at a time, sometimes all three together for the same project.

We take on one or two projects at once. That's on purpose — it means whoever picks up your first call is also the one designing and building the thing, right through to launch and beyond.

What we don't do: social media management, ad campaigns, big content production, ongoing marketing. Different studios do those better than we ever would.

Service 01

Custom software

Good fit for founders and small teams who have a specific problem no existing product quite solves, and want something built rather than bolted together from ten different tools.

Syntax-highlighted code on a screen

Software you can't buy off the shelf. A booking system for your specific workflow. An internal tool that saves you two days a week. A member area for your community. A dashboard that shows the numbers that actually matter.

We're not trying to build the next Instagram. We're trying to build the small, well-made thing that solves a real problem for you or the people using it.

Usually includes
  • Design and build, done together
  • A working version to try, early and often
  • Documentation you can actually read
  • Handover, or ongoing help — your call
Service 02

Websites

Good fit for founders, freelancers, artists, non-profits, and small studios who want a website that actually reflects their work and doesn't look like everyone else's.

A designed website open in a browser on a laptop

Websites that do a real job. Show your work. Take enquiries. Sell something. Tell your story properly to someone who's actually reading.

We design and build them by hand. No cookie-cutter templates. They load quickly, they work on phones, and they don't cost you money every month for features you'll never use.

Usually includes
  • Full design, from first sketch to finished pages
  • Custom-built code (no bloated page builders)
  • A content system so you can update text and images yourself
  • The basics done right — speed, mobile, search, accessibility
  • A month of support after launch, no charge
Service 03

Brand & identity

Good fit for anyone starting a business, a non-profit, a project, or a personal practice — and wanting a proper foundation instead of a rushed logo off Fiverr.

A hand-drawn letterform beside a type specimen

Everything that makes your thing look and sound like itself. Names, logos, colours, type — the small design decisions that quietly add up to a brand you're proud to point at.

We do this for people starting from nothing and for people whose existing brand has stopped fitting. Either way, the goal is the same: something honest, something that lasts, something you're not embarrassed to hand a business card to.

Usually includes
  • Naming and positioning
  • Logo and wordmark
  • Colour palette and typography
  • Basic brand guidelines
  • Business cards, letterheads, and social profiles
Service 04

All of it, together

Good fit for founders launching something new, or teams doing a proper refresh from top to bottom.

A studio desk — laptop, notebook, camera and coffee

Sometimes the software, the website, and the brand are all one thing — a startup launching properly, a portfolio site with a booking layer underneath, a non-profit that needs both a proper identity and a way to take donations.

This is where a small studio is at its best. One team holding the whole thing in their head. One voice. No seams between the pieces, because the same people made all of them.

Who we work with

We work best with small non-profits, early startups, individuals building something of their own, and people who want a proper portfolio site to show their work.

What we look for isn't size — it's someone who cares about the details. A one-person business who wants their site to feel right matters as much to us as a startup with a bit more to spend.

If you're a larger company with a procurement process, a legal team, and a fifteen-person marketing department, we're probably not the right fit. Not because we can't do it, but because you'd get more from a bigger studio with the structure to match.

How to start

Tell us what you're thinking.

A short form helps us prepare before we reply — and we reply within a day, usually the same one. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you to someone who is.
